Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan are the red varieties to be planted, with the addition of five (5) Rhone whites; Viognier, Roussanne, Clairette, Piquepoul and BourBoulenc.

Walla Walla Land Company is focused on becoming a world-class Grower of Rhone wine grape varieties within the Rocks District. The owners are committed to investing in leading-edge infrastructure, farming practices and professionals/expertise who can deliver on their long-term legacy vision.

Their vineyard consists of 17.5 acres. They are committed to the quality and terroir the Rocks District offers. Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan are the red varieties to be planted in 2020 and 2021 on root stock; mini-head trained. Additionally, five (5) Rhone whites; Viognier, Roussanne, Clairette, Piquepoul and BourBoulenc are also being planted within a single “field blend” block, completing the planting of this initial WWLCo vineyard.
