Managing and developing world class vineyards is a shared passion at Flores Agriculture Service as a family-owned company rooted in Milton Freewater. With over 30 years of combined expertise in managing and developing agricultural estates, Javier & the team have the passion to provide excellence.

Owner – Javier Flores

Javier’s journey in the agricultural industry began as a 14-year-old, where he was taught by his father the importance of efficiency in order to make the most out of a day of work. Over the years, Javier adapted and found himself able to break the language barrier - common to many farmers and crew members, which allowed him to progress as a foreman and act as a lead role.

Throughout the years, Javier was introduced to the viticulture process as the area grew in popularity from its recognitions and awards of our local wines around the world. This resulted in the demand of labor to manage multiple vineyards throughout the seasons with crew’s sizes of up to 10-40 members.

Supervisor – Oscar Flores

Son of Javier, Oscar was also introduced to the agricultural industry at an early age picking cherries and handling apples. He continued his passion in agriculture pursuing a degree at Walla Walla Community College and becoming an Alumni of the Enology & Viticulture program. Oscar also had the privilege to be a part of the winemaking/harvest team for Doubleback in 2008 & Napa Valley Reserve in 2020. In addition, he’s worked with, Brook & Bull, Vital, Patina Vineyards, Rotie Cellars & Cayuse.

Graduating from his hometown's amazing EV Winemaking program, has pushed him to not only work with some of the best vineyards in the valley but also to make some quality wine & keep contributing to Washington & Oregon’s prospering wine Industry!
