Some time in 2021, after discovering the magic of Rocks District-sourced wines, Violet Vines purchased a five-acre Cherry orchard located to the north of this unique AVA. The following year work began on converting the orchard into a vineyard consisting of five rocky acres where Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre are planted.
